For Those Older than 60.
I maybe old, but I'm young at heart. As long as I can use my camera and spend time with Photoshop..........life is good.

Talk about radio shows, on sunday back in New York, there was a man by the name of "Uncle Don" who would read the comics to the kids every sunday morning. But one particular sunday, he thought he was off the air and he asked his engineer if he was...the engineer must have said yes, and with that, Uncle Don blurted out, "Well that auta hold the little bastards for another week...." Uncle Don was never heard of again...LOL. And the next sunday the comics were read by Fiorello H. Laguardia, New York City's Mayor.....I was listening to Uncle Don and heard him say that....

While stationed in Japan in the mid 70s, the old radio shows were broadcast on Armed Forces Network, many of which I recall listening to as a kid.
One of my younger brothers was talking to my Mom about something in a school history book and she said the information that was being presented was not correct and she went on to correct the record for my brother. When she finished, my brother remarked, Mom you lived through history. So, yes we have lived through HISTORY and some have made our own history.
Yes, old age is a privilege denied to many. We are truly blessed. Thanks for starting this thread. Cliff
I feel really old now! I not only remember each one of them but a few more like:
DeSoto's
Crosley's
Nash Ramblers

True, but they produced many thousands in their factories.
I remember Bobby Benson and the B-Bar-B Riders. In fact, I won a decoder ring for the club by naming Bobby's horse.
Didn't everyone?
And on the side of perversion, there were the WHIP movie cowboys...
Whip Wilson and Lash La Rue. Seriously, saw those at the Tower Theater in the forties. Alongside Hopalong Cassidy, Gene Autry, the list goes on.
Sky King
Sargeant Preston and King of the RCMP and the yukon territory.
Mr Magoo.
