I would like to see the list OUR GRANDPARENTS would have made. Sitting around the radio and driving a model T down the dirt roads with no traffic lights. How they would build houses with raw wood that they cut by hand. When they went from oil lamps to the light bulbs? I remember my mother telling me they use to get ice cream cones for 1cent and a double for 2cents. When did they go from out houses to toilets in their homes? So many changes in life. You had to go outside to play with your friends face to face not on your cell phone. You could see and talk with them and see their facial expressions so you knew if they were telling the truth or just joking with you.
How could we pay the Fuller Brush man or the Avon lady??
I never thought of my father as witty, but one time he bought a shaving brush (remember those?) from the Fuller Brush man, and not long after all the bristles fell out. The next time the guy came to the door and announced himself my father said, "No you're not, you're the Fuller S**T man!" and closed the door on him.

I was told by a driving instructor that hand signals are still taught in schools but not required for the test. They should be.
My old tractor doesn't have turn signals. I use hand signals, but even when I signal a left turn, people pass me on the left as if they don't know what that means.
