That shot shows me the power of this animal. The talons look quite nasty. Good work as always Regis.

Those Talons are large, sharp and nasty and could easily rip your arm off. You don't want to piss one off by stealing some food from them or threatening their young ones when the mother is nearby. The female is larger than the male and has a wing-span up to 7 feet. It is nice to get close to the Eagle, but not too close, Doc.

Terrific Image Regis. Great color. Super sharp.

A cold day (23 or 24 degrees) when I saw this Bald Eagle dramatically chewing on a fish he had just caught a few minutes before.
The Eagle was about 100-125 feet away on a sunny day. I used 560mm.

Regis Wow this one pops. I feel like I'm on the limb next to it and I might get hit by flying fish scales. I can see the hunger in it's eye. They are all great but this is on a new level. You have to feel good about this one, I'm sure at the end of 2016 you'll look back and say the one at the beginning of the year stands out and look it up. The rest of the year your going to be trying to top that one.

regis...great images as usual! But I could swear that the ones taken with the 150-600 Tamron were sharper. Could you repost one? Thanks!

All the good photo elements came together to make this a very good photo. Being in the right time and place and having good photo equipment gave me a good capture. A keeper.
Thank you very much, trigger finger, for your great comments.
