About now I have to go check to see if I have one in mine. Must stop looking at FOOD Pictures. Too many sugar highs.

I can't post anything either ... I logged 7.26 miles on my FitBit and 90 minutes at the gym today. I will however, dream about these lovely, delicious, most-decadent images when i turn in tonight! Thanks!

This is so mean! I am now dying for some chocolate thank you very much. I do hope they taste as good as they look. :-D
I actually ate one of the cupcakes after shooting the plate. If you have every had Cheesecake Factory Chocolate Cupcakes... these are very much in that ballpark, except no preservatives and odd chemical combinations. A fairly simple recipe which turned out so well, I had to formulate a killer frosting otherwise the whole thing would have bombed... it didn't. Ultra yummy, but not as decadent as the pie pictured. It is astronomically gastronomically unbelievably rich. One tiny slice solves the chocolate hound's thirst. It is so intense, I cut the pie into 14 pieces, because nobody can take a big piece due to its richness.
Often, I top the pie with a tart raspberry glaze, which is then dusted with cocoa, which is then topped with whipped cream, which is sometimes chocolate-almond whipped cream, which is topped with shavings of 70% dark chocolate bar.

Cocoa Atop the Raspberry Glaze
Dark Chocolate Shavings atop Chocolate Almond Whipped Cream
Me thinks someone likes chocolate
Yummy

you sir are an evil, evil man! they look fantastic. One of the ladies of my church made and brought these creme demint cupcakes with chocalate ganache inside the chocalate cupcake. my contribution? taking a shot of one and then devouring it.
No way! Something like that would have to have milk to go with it. A nice tall cold glass of it. (Maybe that's just me though because I would probably be on a sugar high for days if I drank a coke with that thing.)

ok, so about 7 hours later, up from restful, chocolate-dream filled slumbers and about ready to take 4-5 mile run this morning ... THERE'S MORE CHOCOLATE ON THE SCREEN !!!!!!
For my own well-being, I'm going to have to unwatch this thread :)

I finally came up with a properly decadent chocolate cupcake, to go with my ultimately decadent chocolate pie. This is what olde photo lab guys do to satisfy their need to work with formulas now there aren't many photo labs left!
Thus, this is an Ode to Chocolate!
Post yours!
Sorry already ate mine but yours sure look tempting
Thanks alot!! I just took a bite out of my monitor and it sure didn't taste anything like that cupcake would have!
I gotta agree with tea8--glass of milk with chocolate cake.
What is the crust of the pie made from ? Yeah, I'm a masochist--- with great taste.
Coca-Cola goes with buttery popcorn. As kids we would chug it down and let out a window shaking belch !!!! (Unless a parent was in earshot)
My favorite chocolate treat is German Chocolate cake.
And all I have here are some Hershey kisses.
Try Marie Callendars chocolate-mousse pie in the freezer sec. of the grocery. YUMMY!
