I finally came up with a properly decadent chocolate cupcake, to go with my ultimately decadent chocolate pie. This is what olde photo lab guys do to satisfy their need to work with formulas now there aren't many photo labs left!

Best Chocolate pie I've ever eaten was in a small cafe in Waxahachie, Texas. I'll see if I can find the pic.

you sir are an evil, evil man! they look fantastic. One of the ladies of my church made and brought these creme demint cupcakes with chocalate ganache inside the chocalate cupcake. my contribution? taking a shot of one and then devouring it. :thumbup: :twisted:

No way! Something like that would have to have milk to go with it. A nice tall cold glass of it. (Maybe that's just me though because I would probably be on a sugar high for days if I drank a coke with that thing.)

You know, one time I went to this specialty cupcake shop. I paid $2.50 for one of their specialty cupcakes that was supposed to be mint chocolate chip (something like that) and that was the worst cupcake I have ever eaten. It was dry and the taste was just not that good. I can make better cupcakes from the mix I buy at the store. Although my favorite cupcakes are from a bakery much like the ones the OP posted. Chocolate with chocolate icing. The icing is nearly to die for. One of these days I will have to get a pic to show you all.
