Howdy y'all. Names Michael. Just getting started in photography. Sure, I took some snapshots here and there along the way, usually with whatever smart phone I had at the time, and I tried to make them as nice as possible, but...
Anyway, I'm a noob. I don't know much, not even what all I don't know... First time I saw the word 'bokeh' come across the screen, I thought, 'Isn't that those wooden swords?' Yeah, but I'm trying to learn as much, as fast as I can, hence why I'm here.
So, I've got a Nikon Coolpix P900. Sniped one off of Bestbuy.com. So far I really like it. My noobie review is on my posted pics of the Christmas full moon,
http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-357421-1.html#6028462 . Basically, I saw somewhere, maybe on facebook, some zoomed in pics of the moon, and I thought, I've gotta get that camera...so I did. It's teaching me a lot.
You might ask what kind of things I like to take photograph. I've seen general subjects like: portraits, landscapes, wildlife, birding, flowers, snapshots. So far, I don't think I have an absolute preference, though I lean toward anything outside. Love nature, so mostly that direction. Although, I do like portraits as well.
Well, that's the Reader's Digest summary of me...
