I have a hard time understanding why someone would want 100 photo's of a child. Just how many photo's are they going to buy? You need to find out just what kind of pictures the parent is after. I have to hand it to you, you have to have a lot of patients to take on this assignment.

Go to Google, and type in headshots, and you will get some ideas of what to do with headshots.

get a book with 100 different portraits of head shots (they are out there you will have to do some research to find one) and then copy each one using your subject.

Head shots are needed so they can be in films, even short films done by film school students doing short videos, commercials, and needed for working for photographers doing kids portfolios to show other clients. My granddaughter has been doing this since the age of 6 years old, and is now age 10. Head shots include more than the head, sounds like you need to send them to someone else if you do not know this fact. She has done nationwide presentations, many short films, and worked for professional photographers. They normally take between 50 to 100 shots, and you pick out what you like the best.
