I was wondering if anyone could suggest a website service for photography. I have been using GoDaddy to host my site, but i started it when apple still was supporting "iWeb". Since they no longer support iWeb, my website has become too complicated for me to run myself. I was wondering what others use or would suggest. I am ready to switch!

I have my own website on IXWEBHOSTING.COM and have been with them for about 12 years or more. However, you do need to create your own website (Or pay them to do it.) This site, however, is only for my specialized work. I use JAlbum to create individual galleries. I will eventually change this website to use Wordpress as a content management system, but haven't had the time so far. But I will stay with this ISP because of the quality of service.
Ixwebhosting has been very responsive to my needs for tech support or for ideas and they are also very reasonably priced.
For general work that I want to be widely available, I use Smugmug.com. You can organize your images into galleries and folders. At your discretion you can allow others to download images or buy them. Many other options.
Smugmug is easy to work with
I use Webs.com, easy and inexpensive and great LOCAL customer support if you need it.

Zenfolio is good and so is SmugMug. I had SmugMug - have Zenfolio now. Both have free and paid levels. See my signature for my site.
Depends on your requirement and your familiarity with computers. For just having a gallery I use Coppermine. But you have to download the software to your PC, unpack it, and push the files to the server where you want the gallery to reside. (Maybe set a few server conditions too? I've been using it for years.)
Thanks so much for everyones suggestions. You all have been very helpful. I will look into all the options. I had heard about some of the sites, but others are new to me.
I post all of my photographs on Flickr.com. See my page, lower left this post.

Sounds like you need a template-based WYSIWYG website creation tool that does not require programming experience -- not a new hosting company (like: IX Web Hosting, that has dismal reviews on the web).
Since you are familiar with iWeb, you may be comfortable with EverWeb (
http://www.everwebapp.com). They have a special page "EverWeb For Photographers". And, "Easily Upgrade your iWeb site to EverWeb".
Smugmug since 2007. My site can be found by clicking on my user name.

Actually I just discovered my site is not working right now and I've put out queries to both Bluehost and Zenfolio to find out why. Bluehost just replied that my hosting account has been deleted for non-payment. WHAT?? My domain name is current and I thought that Zenfolio was hosting my account. Why would I need to pay Zenfolio AND Bluehost for hosting. I don't mean to hijack this thread but this could be helpful to all who have websites. My site was working fine a few weeks ago.
