If you are hiding around Paso Robles, CA; there is the North County Computer club with a beautiful web site!

Aha! I have one there, too, imagemeister, but I forgot. I don't use it much but should. I have sold one item on there. Gorgeous work on yours!

Actually I just discovered my site is not working right now and I've put out queries to both Bluehost and Zenfolio to find out why. Bluehost just replied that my hosting account has been deleted for non-payment. WHAT?? My domain name is current and I thought that Zenfolio was hosting my account. Why would I need to pay Zenfolio AND Bluehost for hosting. I don't mean to hijack this thread but this could be helpful to all who have websites. My site was working fine a few weeks ago.

All is working fine again. I got quick responses from both Zenfolio and Bluehost and got the situation resolved. Still not sure exactly what happened but it's all good now.

I was wondering if anyone could suggest a website service for photography. I have been using GoDaddy to host my site, but i started it when apple still was supporting "iWeb". Since they no longer support iWeb, my website has become too complicated for me to run myself. I was wondering what others use or would suggest. I am ready to switch!

I can't figure out whether you're looking for a new web host or someone to do a website for you. If a website, consider moving your site to Hostgator or BlueHost. You can do almost anything with Wordpress and there are hundreds of themes for photographers.

I use Big Black Bag:
They arranged the web hosting with my URL and I use their templates to design my site and manage my images. I have used them for a number of years and never had any problems. Also their support is very good. My site is www.bweberphotography.com

I recently posted a page asking about websites and for people to list their sites so we can look at their pics.

If you look for "your website" here in the photography forum.

You will get to see others sites, and get a feel for what site to choose and how to set up your pages...

Hi:

I have been using smugmug for the last 4 years and am very pleased with it. Here are some of the benefits:

You can upload unlimited number of photos of very large size

You can protect the access by a password

You can provide access only to the clients or some friends only and not everyone else to download the photos.

You can sell photos

And it is very easy to use and it is relatively very inexpensive.

Sorry, but Word Press isn't easy to use for someone who knows nothing about website design and there's a monthly fee for server space hosting and a domain name to put a Word Press blog up anyway. This OP doesn't want "moderately simple" but would be better served by a pre-made beautiful site that just requires uploading photos to it.
