Beautiful lily, and I like the slant rather than just straight up, but I have been taught by one of the best to never cut off petals nor even let them touch the edges unless you are going for a close-up of the center of the flower. Everything else works just great. I have had those in all my yards since I was a child and still look forward to them every year. Nice work, even with the tips cut off!!!

Thank you Horseart

Ok, I turned it up as was suggested and ran a de-noise program on it. Thats all. Not sure which way I like it turned better but removing the noise did make a difference. I lie, I did crop it after turning it.

It really is a bueatiful flower! The pollen really draws your eyes to the center!

I like it ok, I have a habit of shooting like I saw it and not trying to rotate to try to make it look any better, you did a excellent job with the noise, What program did you use?

The program is called Neat Image. It can be found here:

I use the plug-in version for PSE but the stand alone is the same. Even though PSE has a noise reduction filter I like this much better. It also sharpens the photo if you want to after it removes the noise, which is when it should be done. All settings are fully adjustable which is nice.

As for trying to make it look better, don't look at it that way. Look at it as correcting a fault or defect from the camera. If it looks better after, so be it.
