"Progressive" is the name of a sheep's fleece- worn over a pig… propaganda is understood much better in liberal camps than it is in conservative. It is an Orwellian "lie". Like Women's health vs. abortion, ( as if pregnancy is a disease), Climate deniers ( when climate has always changed and will continue to do so, we are in an interglacial period WITHIN the 5th or 6th Ice Age- of the earth… the ice age we are in hasn't ended- climate MUST change- only the left denies it will!)

Which side condones and embraces liars? Well they have a proven Pinochio as front runner in the polls, proof enough that the term "Progressive" is an intentional crafted ruse as "liberal" has become less attractive.

Right.

Fascism, by definition, is "state corporatism". Essentially, when privately owned corporate entities control the state and all of its functions. The prime example is Italy under Mussolini, who coined the very term, "fascism". There's nothing progressive about fascism. In Italy, one of the goals of fascism was to squash all progressive movements.

Apparently, the op slept through most of political science class.[/quot

Odd, though expected, that rook and frosty cannot read. Given their limited liberal minds, though, I did not expect them capable of free thought.

I was able to read the following from wikipedia. I do hope you can:

Fascism /ˈfæʃɪzəm/ is a form of radical authoritarian nationalism[1][2] that came to prominence in early 20th-century Europe. Influenced by national syndicalism, fascism originated in Italy during World War I, in opposition to liberalism, Marxism, and anarchism. Fascism is usually placed on the far-right within the traditional left–right spectrum.[3][4]

This triangle is quite simply wrong. Using a Triangle is needlessly, and perhaps purposely confusing. A line is more accurate and more easily understood. Ultimate government control-And all forms of governments that lead to it are on the left. Chaos and no government at all are on the right. Increasing government control ( liberalism-progressivism) on the left. Conservatism- libertianism on the right. It's no more complicated than that.

The following is from a post I made several days ago. It is appropriate again today.

I find it interesting that, I believe it was Grover Norquist that said, he would like to see government shrunk so small it could be drowned in a bath tub and Ted Cruz said he would like to see government shrunk so small you can barely see it. Whereas Engels (I trust you know who that is) said, "The society which organizes production anew on the basis of free and equal association of the producers will put the whole state machinery where it will then belong—into the museum of antiquities, next to the spinning wheel and the bronze ax".

It seems you are incorrect about the extreme left since interestingly, the extreme right and the extreme left share the same vision of little or no government. Perhaps a circle would better illustrate left/right politics.

The extreme left and a smaller government! Do you really believe that? Put your tin hat back on. Proves that you have absolutely no credibility.

Checkmate,
I keep hearing an echo on this thread. Sounds like something with zero brains and his mouth full of crap. Supposed to be a big bad boy though. Takes no prisoners we hear.
