Some who post here want to compromise their whole lives and in doing so stand for nothing. The person who sent the post obviously was offended. But that does not matter. But what seems to matter to some is that the PC person is not offended. Too heck with that. The PC person does not mind offending others. If you go through life not be offended then you stand for nothing. You become a door mat to be walked on and trampled under foot. The original poster is at least trying to stand for something, I am guessing.

About a year or so ago I ran into a lady from the church that I had known, fondly, for years, I pointed my finger at her and said jokingly, you owe me a cup of coffee.. She went off at me for the finger pointing to the point that I have ignored her since... Last week, the word went out, pray for her she has terminal cancer all over.... Sometimes a reaction is caused by things unknown..

Amen to that! When I first knew her, my mother-in-law told me that sometimes when a person reacts negatively for no reason, there may be something negative going on in his/her life. I've found that to be true, which has helped me to not take offense and just let it go. And then there's people who are just ornery and not nice..... Oh well.... :roll:

She is wrong. Human come in two sexes...girls and boys (let's not worry with the "both" population) and even I refer to females as girls and I'm one of them. This person is ultra sensitive and one of those girls who thinks they are fighting the battle for all females when in fact, they are fighting their own inadequacies. They don't speak for me or for a huge population of women who frankly don't want or need her (and others like her) help. However, if she is the "ruler" of the pack, I'd say look for another group. Obviously she's more worried about her sexuality and appearance than the appearance of the club, it's artists or the reason the club exists.
