Welcome to the next challenge. Thank you Judy for hosting 'Then' and 'Now'. It was a wonderful challenge with very fun and interesting posts by everyone.

It must be the fall 'blues' as I am having trouble picking up my camera and getting out to shoot. I did go out one day to a nearby State Park knowing most of the colorful leaves had fallen....and hoped to find something of interest. And to make it more challenging I put on the 75-300 mm lens....not a good walk about lens....but very challenging....at least it was for me.

I love bridges,Irene. Always intrigues me how they construct them and still keep an artistic feel! Nice start and looks like we'll get a bunch of innovative entries! Looking forward to seeing them!Thank you for hosting!

Great start Irene. Seeing the same old things each day can be very boring. I find that if I take a deep breath and close my eyes for a few seconds, to clear the clutter out of my brain, I sometimes come away with a new fresh idea or look on the mundane things in my life. Here are a couple that I see every day, and then one day decided to see what I could do with them.

Boy, that's an interesting question...Sunny!

Love the shots of those leaves! Is that frost on rose leaves or variegated something else,Pat? At any rate they really stand out!

I took this one for texture but after I got it on screen, look what appeared..

Looks like a Cat attacking that stone to me...could have gone on faces from inanimate things! Guess you could blame the sun! :)

I too love the leaves Pat. I have trouble when doing black and whites deciding just how far go, one way or the other. I think yours a perfect.

Cool cat! The leaf makes the cat look like it's licking the rock. I'd call the photo Cat Lick!
Got to get back to work. Later!

Thanks, Irene. Hope to get to the link. Like you, haven't taken the camera out a lot lately. November is a depressing month - everything browns, bleak and bare. This would be a good assignment to find something that would be otherwise.

Yes, I agree Pat. Maybe I have something colorful to place on the mailbox.....lol.... :D ...... and work with that!

A beautiful B/W of the frosty plant. Love the composition of your first.....and can't you just see some color among the golden oak leaves (perhaps little pp to make that happen?)! Happy you remembered these Pat!
