Manna, Like the third image best due to the involvement of the other subjects, lilly flower etc. I have found that if it is something you like photograph, photograph alot of it. Here are some bird images of my own. I tend to like a touch of photoshop added also. Steve. Cincinnati, Oh

Wow that first one is gorgeous! I am still very much a learner when i comes to photoshop, it becomes more a case of having time to play around with them lol. Here's another one i took that day that i thought was cute!

Manna, great shots, I'm partial to the moorhen, I have a bunch of pics of them and they are truly funny foul! I have them mating, fighting, raising young, etc....they are very common here and mostly ignored, but I find them fascinating. Like all your shots, I think your angle was spot on! Nice job!

#1 & # 3 are very good. Very sharp & well composed. # 2 looks a little bit un-saturated, but otherwise great photos. What camera & lens were you using. How far were your subjects from you?

I use a Canon Powershot SX10IS, so it is a fixed lens. And as to how far away they were, uuummm... in the middle of the water and i was on the bank lol. I would have no idea to be honest, i was full twenty times zoom on them

Thanks Linda! I really appreciate that. I think the ENv is like 3.3 megapixels, but the new phone I ordered (iPhone 4S) will probably do better, although I prefer my cameras.
I had a lot of editing to do on it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one chasing ducks! Here are a couple from Gibbs Pond in Nesconset, (Long Island), NY.
