Good morning Manna from central Illinois, USA.
It is around 05.40 hrs here central time and I have been up for a couple of hours already as I couldn't sleep. So, with my second cup of strong black coffee already finished I am ready to get into bird identification as a change from all the photo techno-babble. What you have shown us in the first two images are the Pacific Brown duck of the species Anas Superciliosa. The third image is of that cute little Moorhen, species Gallinula chloropus.
Bet you feel better for knowing all this, yes?

I do feel better for knowing that actually lol. I had been wondering what the last one (the moorhen) was, hence the duck duck something... Thank you very much! Thanks also for the coffee thought! I'm going to make one lol

Manna, Like the third image best due to the involvement of the other subjects, lilly flower etc. I have found that if it is something you like photograph, photograph alot of it. Here are some bird images of my own. I tend to like a touch of photoshop added also. Steve. Cincinnati, Oh

This is nice. I always try to add something special to the image, even if it is not already apparent. My work is alittle unconventional. Also, did not expect to hear back so quick. I wasn't even done uploading. Hope you like the others and to hear from you soon again.

And here is one of our yard visitors, a goldfinch.
We live just outside the small city of Edwardsville, IL and when we moved her a few years ago i was sufficiently intrigued by the shere variety of different bird species that I started to record them and just seen in and around the yard and adjacent fields and pond we have had 23 different bird species. We are on a migratory fly-way so with our very distinct four seasons get to see or play host to so many. Costs me a small fortune in bird feed which I buy in 56lb sacks!

#1 & # 3 are very good. Very sharp & well composed. # 2 looks a little bit un-saturated, but otherwise great photos. What camera & lens were you using. How far were your subjects from you?
