Just beautiful. The moon really sets this shot off.
Thanks, Jean. I regretted not bringing a longer lens to really make that moon pop, but it was still big enough to attract the eye.
Glad you enjoyed this, and thanks as always for your visit and kind comment. I appreciate it!

I like this, the moonrising in the sky.
Thanks, Karin. Very colorful with the moon rising thru the colored clouds of the sunset. Had to shoot it, lol, and glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks for looking and the positive comment, it's always much appreciated!
Another winner. I just recently figured out that facing east at sunset makes for nice sky colors.

Thanks, Dennis, and don't I know it! I've done a lot of shots (many posted here) in Goose Rocks facing east, fantastic soft color. Took me a of years of shooting west before I finally turned around and saw what I'd been missing, lol.
Glad you enjoyed this one. That is certainly one scenic pier, lol. Wish I lived a little closer, I'd be there every night!
Thanks for stopping by--it's much appreciated!

Thanks, Carlo. I'm glad you've enjoyed the series. For a very tiny town, it's a beautiful place. It's just off Route 9, the pier only a minute away from the main road, but don't blink--you'll miss it, lol.
If you go, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. And give me (and Dennis) a shout--who knows, I might be up there!
Thanks for looking and your very kind comments, they're much appreciated!
lovely bold statement Tp, nice one,

How about we take a break from Madame P and portraits and go back to Maine for another shot or two?

Cape Porpoise became a new one of our "DESTINATIONS" after we had a brief sojourn there at your recommendation Treepusher,---which we greatly appreciated----I wish we had more evenings and sunrises to recognize some of the opportunities that you always seem to catch at just the right time---We still plan on late spring revisit----Beautiful image!!
