Thanks, John. A very pretty place, scenic everywhere you look, and hard to get a bad shot there. Glad you liked the image, and thanks for those thumbs and your visit. They're much appreciated!

I'm not much one for lobsters but anything to do with a vessel afloat is enchanting to begin within. You can take the man out of the sea but you can't take the sea out of the man. Thanks for the seascape Randy.

Thanks, Bob. Maybe that's been my problem--all that sea sloshing around inside me, lol.

Glad you enjoyed this. As much as I like the mountains and desert, you just can't beat the ocean.

Thanks for paddling up and your kind comment, it's always much appreciated!

We all have a special place we go to relax and Cape Porpoise must surely be yours, Randy. We share an appreciation of the beauty and tranquility of the seashore. Your love of Maine always shines through in your images.

Thanks, John. I'm sure there are better places to go, more scenic vistas than this, but I've never found one I liked as much, nor dream about as often.

Thanks for understanding, and thanks as always for your kind words and visit. They're much appreciated!

Love this perspective..,.the traps give it the depth!!

Thanks, Bob. I had some fantastic light from a gorgeous sunset that evening, made everything look special. The rising moon didn't hurt a bit, either. I'll be looking at this one all winter long, lol.

Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks as always for stopping by and your positive comment. I'm very grateful!

Stunning image, Randy. Love the colors and light, the composition and the moon!

Thanks, Linda. Would have been nice to have a longer lens that evening, really bring that moon in, but I didn't. Still, it made a nice accent.

The sunset cast a reddish glow on everything (you've seen some of the other shots), really made it fun to shoot, if a bit strange. Probably shouldn't have painted this, but I can't resist, lol.

Glad you liked it, and thanks as always. I do greatly value and appreciate your visits and comments!

I hope to visit your stomping grounds and try some of that famous Lobster!! :D

Let me know when you're coming! Hard to beat the ocean for pretty sunsets, and we can shoot a few. After the lobster, of course, lol.

Thanks, Ron. Always glad you stop by, and thanks as always for all those thumbs!

This one is such an interesting study of light and textures.

Thanks, Vicki. A lot going on here, especially for a static scene. Wood. Metal and plastic. Water. Sky. Trees. The moon. Verticals. Horizontals. Diagonals. It could drive a person to drink.

Unless you just look at it as a nice place to stand and look out at the water in the evening, which is what I usually do... ; )

Thanks for your kind comments and visit, I do always appreciate them!

Excellent work Treepusher.

Thanks, Angler. Coastal views are really tough to beat, just something about the water that calms the soul. Except in bad weather, of course. That gets a little trickier, lol.

Thanks for your kind comment and visit, they're always very much appreciated!

Beautiful job Randy...the light is simply gorgeous.

Thanks, James. A really nice sunset that night, and it turned everything reddish. Made it special, and lucky me, I had the camera with me! What are the odds...lol.

Thanks for your kind words and visit, I'm always grateful for them!

How about we take a break from Madame P and portraits and go back to Maine for another shot or two?

Looking East from the pier in Cape Porpoise at sunset, and yeah, a little Simplify

I like this, the moonrising in the sky.
