Very nice, Bob and leaves are somewhat shaped like our Black Walnut trees.
Thanks for your comment Swamp-Cork. I noticed the similarity in leaf structure too.
Good shot and nice colored tree Bob, but I have no idea what it is

Thanks simon. I wonder ..... maybe some things should be left a mystery. If we knew everything, it might get boring because there'd be nothing left to discover.

I was also going to suggest Black Walnut.
For years we thought we had an Ash tree next to our driveway, but we started to find walnuts on the ground during spring cleanup. We never did see them actually growing on the tree.

Thanks for the comment Szalajj. Strangely enough, the tree that bore these leaves had an umbrella shape, almost like a Crepe Myrtle. From all the images of Ash trees and Black Walnut tree I've seen, it just doesn't quite fit, although the leaf configuration would have led me to believe it was one or the other of those two. I'll have to go back and get a full-length photo of the tree to show you what I mean.

Thanks 7D. I'd discovered that adding a mask that will expose the underlying detailed leaf structure goes very nicely with an abstract background.
Duplicate entry. Please read edited comment below.

Full sized photo of tree for comparison. I'm still perplexed as to its identification.
