I got my D7100 a few months ago and love it. There's a lot of new stuff to learn. I moved up from a D90 and it's quite a learning experience, but I'm catching on. You'll love it. Go shoot some stuff. Enjoy!

Give me a deal on a D750 to go with my toys and I'll go!
I have both the D7000 and the D7100, I am very happy with both of them, I see no need to upgrade to the D7200
since it is a 24mp camera just like the 7200.
Canon.com has refurbished 7d mark 2 for 1199,

I, too, upgraded to the D7100 a few months ago.... but, from two D80. Loved the D80's but really like the D7100. Then, the other day, I was at Costco and they had the D7200 for about $250 more then the sale price for the D7100.... I just could not resist. Now if I could only get a good price for my D80's, my wife would be happy!
I went from the D5200 to the D7200 and it was a big jump in continuous speed action capability and the more pro like controls make it easier to make changes quickly. Not sure I would have moved up from a D7100 to a D7200, the D7100 is a very capable camera and didn't suddenly become a piece of junk just because there's a newer model with a few more features. One thing I did notice, when I got a much higher speed SDHC card, the improvement in the number an speed of continuous shots was dramatic. The bigger buffer of the D7200 helps, but I'm thinking money spent on fast memory cards is a good thing too. Enjoy your new toy!
the D7100 is a great camera.
I've had one for a couple of years and love it.

I have had my D7100 about 15 months and am just barely scratching the surface of the things this camera can do.
Same here. I have my D7100 for ~ 2.5 years and my next challenge is going full manual. I am doing ~ 90% of my shots at aperture priority.
Enjoy your new camera!

I did it and finally got my D7100, upgraded from my D7000. I have been playing around with it all this past weekend. Asking any of you who have had the D7100 for a while what you think of this camera? I wanted the D7200, but really didn't have the $$ to upgrade to that one yet....
  The D7100 is all I needed too. In fact I just got back a 16x24 canvas wrap print of a gorgeous sunset and mounted it on my wall today. But it will be just as good when I set up my next model shoot.

Have had mine for a little over two years - only problem I've had was caused by getting caught in the woods by a rain storm without protection.
I predict that you will love your new camera.
