Thanks for the ideas about ink. My printer at work has been rigged by our IT guy to use big easy to fill tanks (only 4) so I have bottles of ink handy at all times. Wonder if it is possible to drill holes in my Pixima tanks and do the same. I 'll have to check that.

Check out Precision Colors. No need to drill holes that only makes them leak.

I have my Pro-10 on a cart with a 13.5 x 20 inch top, while the machine extends beyond the edges considerably the feet all fit on that space and it is steady.

Hanging over the sides isn't a problem I just want to be sure that it's stable. The table I found should work without a hitch.

Looks like a good choice. Thanks for mentioning Safco. Looks like they have several that will work for me too. :-D

If you have a dedicated room for your work like I do I have 3 printer and a fax one is a cannon 9500.mounted on the wall on heavy duty adjustable shelves . unless you want to move it around.

We do everything in the media room and I like it that way. Get to stay with the family and not isolate myself. On top of that I can watch TV while I'm working. Always multitasking.

I'm thinking about purchasing a Canon Pixma Pro 10 but I need to figure out where I'm going to put it. If someone out there in the great HOG land knows how much real space I need to place this on a table I would appreciate some help. I'm planning to put the printer on a rolling printer table so what I'm looking for is the distance between the feet that the printer rests on. If it hangs over a little beyond the feet it won't matter, as long as the feet are firmly planted on the table top.

Here's the rolling stand/table I got for my Pro 10, and have been very happy with it. Stable, ample storage, and locking rollers.

That is one of the stands I am looking at. The other one is a little more industrial.

Thanks, that's a big help. The table I'm looking at is a 26 x26 inch rolling printer table; Safco Products 1856BL Scoot Desk Side Printer. Has a 200lb weight capability. Not exactly high end furniture but it'll work for me and if my wife wants it out of the media room for guests, it's on rollers so it'll be easy to move.

Well, the one I just sent as a link is very similar to the one you mention, I didn't see this until after I hit send. I think you'll be very happy with either model.

I recently bought a Pixma PRO-100 and needed another (second) stand. I bought a Projector stand (#WIWT26EB "TUF CART/E 24x18x24.5"/WDH- BLK/BLK-LG) from B&H. It has rollers, a 15ft cord and it works perfectly for the printer.

Good choice, a little less expensive than the one I was looking at.
