Bald Eagle in Flight
Watching the river
Watching me (too close to the nest)
Great shots. We have plenty of Eagles here, but I have never been able to get close enough to get the good shots.
Thanks for sharing
I'm no pro but I will say I love the 1st shot :)

Great shots.....like the clarity and color.
Wow great shots I'd love to capture a shot of these wonderful birds...Well Done..Thanx for sharing ( Im not anywhere close to being a pro but had to comment on them anyway)
Michael O' I used a Canon EOS Rebel XS with a 55x250 EFS lens at full zoom. The Eagles live year round in Sand Springs Oklahoma on Wekiwa road in between highway 64 /412 and the the Arkansas River.
Welcome to UHH. My favorite is the #1 also Thanks for sharing pictures of all of them.
#1 is one of the best eagle shots I've seen. #2 ia a great pose, it's a shame the limbs get in the way.
Since everyone seems to appreciate them here are a few more. There are three nesting pairs in this area and #2 in the first post is a fearless female. I can walk right up under her tree and she just looks at me like what do want?
The in flight ones are very hard to get it has taken three years and a lot of patience.
Another in flight female

I don't know if the download option is there for everybody but I hope you can see them in all their full size glory. I am not in it for the money I am in it for the love of nature.
Great shots. Glad you had the patience to get to the point where you catch such clear focused shots of bald eagles. Snapping wildlife is a huge challenge. My hat's off to you. For over a year I've been watching a 24/7 nest cam in Decorah IA. This is the link
http://www.ustream.tv/decoraheagles We even visited Decorah last August because of the eagles.
Watched the mom and dad hatch, raise and fledge 3 eaglets last year. Now they have another three. I have viewed literally 1000's of photos of bald eagles during this time. Yours are right up there with the best I've seen. I hope you'll share more photos of them on here. Thank you.
I'm a newbie on here. Q. for those who've been here awhile: if I ask the photographer if it's OK to share his/her photo with others, and he/she says it is, is there any reason I don't know of not to?
Your 1st shot in the first group is good but I really like the 2nd shot in your second group. Good focus and light. It really shows the true color of this magnificent bird. Nice work!
You say you can walk up on the one bird? That is rare! As a general rule eagles do not like people. They have been know to abandone a nest with chicks in it if bothered too much by people so please be careful.
