Beautiful artwork. I'm sure you have family and friends looking over your shoulder as you do that.
I have wanted to watch such a painting go from 'start' to 'finish' some day(s) - camera-in-hand, of course.
Keep up the good work . . .
Oh, PS: I don't really have another hobby as such other than photography - and I ain't so very good at that either;
- just like taking pictures of various things I see, mostly as 'memory boosters' of where I was that day/time.
Like I have told many folks; 'I'm not a photographer, I'm a picture taker.'
Great job. I also enjoy woodworking and I made a similar table. Looks like u used oak from the appearance.

Nice! A close friend built up one of the finest high end art galleries in Central Oregon, over many years, and recently sold it to spend her time on her own painting.
Her only use for a digital camera is to travel around the PNW and SW of the US to acquire digital images as source material for her paintings.
It's all she does now and loves her hoppie. She is a prolific painter. I am amazed at the quantity and quality of work she turns out.
Interestingly, and I think this is still true, she never displays her actual photographs, other than in the form of her fine art in various paint media. I've seen a lot of her photography, while working with her on her computers and file management. However, she does not post her photography on any photo posting sites.
Pamela is extremely committed to the art forms mentioned in her web site.
http://claflinart.com/Hope this is of interest to you. When she had her gallery, she hung the work of a couple of quite good photographers for about three years. It did not work out for her, and she has never considered the photographic side of image creation to be the income generator that her art has become.
And believe me, this lady can sell. I've seen her gather $275,000 dollars on a one hour "silent bidding" before a showing of a featured artist who would be in her gallery for one month.
My other hobbies are building a sailboat (still in the planning stage), model railroading (currently between going from N scale to HO scale), reading (just about anything I can get my hands), I just took up coloring, shooting, archery, and exploring this wonderful world of ours from the smallest of things to the biggest.
But like Erv says, work keeps getting in the way.

Site design and construction.
Designed and built this gazebo, includes a bar on the left end, gas and charcoal grill and a large sitting are so when a party gets rained on we still stay outside and enjoy it.
Finishing up the backyard gazebo with 1st coat of paint.
The balustrade was done 2 summers ago.
Gazebo nearly finished
Very, very nice. I wish I had a backyard big enough to put that in.
