I took some magazines to the VA Hospital in Dallas the other day to put in their waiting rooms. They were glad to get them. That is one super busy place. I imagine most VA Hospitals are. If you have some magazines that you don't know what to do with the hospitals would be glad to get them.

To all the Veterans who are actually hogs. I recognize some of the Hogs are Vets by their byline or avatar. Rather than saying thanks to the few I can recognize I thought I would thank all the vets who are Hogs. If not for you none of us would be here talking about photos, etc. I chase you down in parking lots, restaurants, etc. when you may where a hat identifying yourself or still in uniform.

Thank You All for your service.

I served 5 years in the Navy Seabees, 20 years with the Air National guard as a part timer. Should see those retirement checks starting next year. To all Veitnam vets, it hurt me deeply that so many civilians treated you terribly. I honor and respect all vets, especially those that served in Nam. Thank you to all who served, we are family.

USAF 1964-1990 Meteorological Equipment Repair, Siting & Instillation. Upper Air Sounding support for SR-71 at Kadena, Fog Removal & Weather Modification programs at Air Force Cambridge Research Laboratory. Volunteered twice for Nam because my kid brother was serving in Army there but got controlled tours instead. AF Held up my retirement for 1st Golf War but Sadis decided to run their own Air Base Group so I missed out on that one too. My kid brother's unit took the scud hit to the barracks while I shoveled sh-t in New Jersey. (REMF)

I HATE it when someone says "Thank you for your service"--such a knee jerk cliche.
