Having just bought the A7ii, I appreciate this information.
The Friedman book is a book on the A7 and the A7R, for which one can purchase a 70 page supplement for new features on the A7ii. The hard copy is quite expensive, but I am going to order the much less expensive download of the book and supplement.
On Amazon, I located a book by Matsumoto and Roullard on the A7ii, which will not be available until October 30. I have preordered this book.
Have fun with your camera. If I was not already invested in another system, I would be joining you.
