As far as online shopping, I would only buy it from B & H, Adorama, or Amazon.
What type of FX lens are you thinking about next? If telephoto zoom, Nikon just announced a 200-500mm f/5.6 lens. It has an electromagnetic aperture that is supposed to be able to maintain more consistent exposures during high speed shooting.
I have the Nikon 80-400mm AF-S lens. It's a fantastic lens, very sharp with fast autofocus.
If you don't mind refurbished, the Nikon site currently has a good selection of refurbished FX lenses, at 10% off.

Hi Hoggs, has anyone bought from

Any experiences would be a help.
I'm thinking of purchasing a Nikon D750 with 24-120 lens but what FX lens should I purchase next
Cheers
Beware Nikon 24-120.
The 24-120mm f/3.5-5.6 AF-S VR is
a blurry pile of rubbish.
The 24-120 f4 VR is good though.
But I'd avoid both and get the 28-300 VR,
it's good too, has that extra reach, and cheaper than both

I would recommend the ABC of online stores, Adorama, B&H and Cameta along with Roberts and perhaps a few other more local store I'm forgetting. Please heed the warning about something to good to be true. As far as your first lens purchase goes, the 24-120 F4 is a very nice lens and is still be available with the D750 for a really good price! There are both better, and worse choices but I would consider it a good place to start. As you start to develop your own style and set of subjects, you will better understand what lenses you may want to get. It's all a very personal decision and I would not recommend buying a pile of lenses as you just start out. Take some time, learn to work with what you have and practice practice, then practice some more. Your path will become clearer that way! Best of luck.

I got the 28-300mm 3.5-5.6 with the D750 and they work well together. Nice range of wide angle to telephoto. And it is not a true macro lens, the 28-300 does focus in to about 9 inches from the front element at 300mm. Not a light combination, but works well together.
Check the Nikon Website before making a purchase.
They are running sales right now.
