Did not realize the Air Force had a memorial. Nice photos. Where is the memorial in relation to the Vietnam Memorial?

Thanks for the compliment. My daughter, who lives in DC, drove so I am not sure of its exact location. I know that we were across from the Pentagon and the Washington Monument was a distance away (to the East I think). So I would say it is not close to the Viet Nam Memorial. I was unable to visit the Viet Nam Memorial this time but I do like to visit when I am in DC. I am familiar with some of the names engraved on it.

Left handed??? How do you mean?? The bolt handle is toward the right on both rifles - to be operated by the shooter's right hand.

I guess the reference was to the fact that the rifles are being held on opposite shoulders.

I visited this several years back. Think it may have only been a year old at the time. This was when I used the little p&s camera. Being a USAF vet it makes me feel good. Thanks.
