Nice shots... I like the airy feel of that last one a lot! Not having the trees causes the eye to be drawn to the structure!

I agree with you Michael. At first I liked the "glow" of the structure in the first one (caused by the afternoon sun hitting the silver) but the coloring in the other one appeals to me much more and, as you said, no trees to distract.

never knew it exsisted. very appropriate for the air force. like the 1st one the best. never seen the army or navy memorials either.

Thanks sinatraman. I can't think of one specifically for the Navy or Army. Other than Iwo Jima and Air Force they have WWII, Korea and Viet Nam. I think the Air Force one is relatively new.
