Who would let work stop them from posting here?
Seriously, can understand why might not have, just seen a few posts asking for help where it looked like the real intent was to start an argument. And they were all op single posts.
More than likely went to attend to his sheep or to shoot a kangaroo lol
Not a troll
I made it a point to apologize to the op for my post. People should read the whole thread before calling others names.
Haven't posted more because the op has a pentax, and having a Sony, my solution of posting directly to the tablet from the camera using the cameras built in WiFi would have been of no help.
The tablet I have is a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
As I mentioned before, I had taken some photos with a micro SD card in its adapter in the camera. Then put that mSD card in the slot in the tablet. Works like a charm, no additional software needed, no Wi-Fi, no card readers.
Find the icon that looks like a yellow flower on a blue background. Press, select Camera, and there are your photos.
No Wi-Fi, no Card-reader, no cords, no additional software.
I do however use a "regular" SD card in my camera, they are stored on the HD of my laptop or desktop as well as on external HDs. So once in a while I do take out the mSD card (or have my grandson do it for me), to copy some new photos to the that card.
don't be sorry...there are one on this forum that will find fault with anything....it was an interesting query to me as i have an android...and i understand why you didn't jump right back in....your avitar states you are in australia and there is a time difference...
I am sorry that some people got upset that I was not still on line but the fact of the matter is that being in the southern hemisphere in another time zone , I posted in our night ( it is now 6.30 am ) and went to bed shortly after. I had spent much of a busy day helping tend to our daughter and grandchildren laid low with the flu. Today will be little different but I MAY be able to play my regular 9 holes of golf.[/quote]
Try to copy the photos to a PC, put them on the microSD card to the Android table, then place the microSD card in the tablet and its there until you may decide you don't want them anymore. I use a 64GB microSD card for the Android tablet. I have photos, documents, etc on the microSD card in the tablet. I also have an SD adapter for the micro.
