You are correct about General Lee. But there are a significant number of people, primarily who live in the south, that don't even acknowledge the Civil War. They refer to it as the 'War of Northern Aggression'. That ought to tell you something about some people and how they view history.

I'd bet you and I spent weeks studying it in Grammar School History: today they zip through those years in a 50 minute class, and never mention that it was actually more about economics and fair trade than slavery. Well, you are correct on one thing...I AM comparing the NAACP to the KKK....BOTH ARE RACIST GROUPS and have NO Place in Society as long as they persist in that terrible agenda. As for "Large" numbers of unarmed blacks killed by police....that is simply NOT TRUE. You are either trying to promote lies or terribly uninformed. If you are using your point of reference, the shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri....You picked a poor example. Michael Brown was nothing more than a street thug that assaulted and tried to kill a police officer. He died as the result of that decision, made by him. Those are facts, on official public record.....Shortly after Michael Brown was killed a St Louis Police officer shot and killed a man in South St. Louis. The rumor mill immediately started the rumor that the man was unarmed and only had a sandwich in his hand,,,,,All Lies.....The man had in his possession a stolen gun and was shooting at the officer with it. The gun was even in a photograph listed on the man's Facebook page...being held by Him. Racist agendas do not usually partake in the truth, and when it is presented it is rebuked because it doesn't fit into the racist's agenda. You can present your tirade all day long, but what you are failing to notice is that the very thing you accuse me of you are guilty of....You do not know my inner feelings EITHER. I've spoken them, but you refuse to acknowledge them.

If you had said that there are some black people that are racist and that there are lots and lots and lots of white people that are racist, I would have agreed with you. I would have also agreed with you that America is a very racist country and doesn't appear to be getting better. But to compare the NAACP to the KKK and how the racist people in those organizations go about their business, past and present, is ignorant and you are showing your ignorance. I am correct on more than just one thing and you are wrong on more than one thing.

On the killing of unarmed black men and people with mental issues by white police officers AND the same officers getting away with it, I stand by it happening in large numbers or far often than it should. I'll even bet that the officers involved have been involved with prior shootings. I know too many officers that have retired in Baltimore, D.C., Atlanta, and Detroit that have never fired their weapon after 20+ years and in some cases, never pulled it. They worked in dangerous cities and worked drug undercover. Ferguson is NOT one of them. HELP!!!!!
Look at the case in Madison, WI where a white cop shoots an unarmed black 17 year for punching him in the face and shoots him 7 times all in the front. Look at the white cop that shoots the black boy holding a toy gun in Cleveland. Look at the white cop that shoots the black boy for holding a recently purchased air rifle and talking on a cell phone in a Walmart. While you're at it, show me some cases where BLACK police officers have shot and killed WHITE boys/men under similar circumstances. Those are MY points of reference. Now you come up with something other than Ferguson, which you and I both know that there were lies going all over the place there. I'd suggest you look at the so called grand jury proceedings and the so called honest county attorney there.
I've worked as a prosecutor in TX and have seen first hand how cops get when their cases wouldn't go forward for obvious legal reasons.
