24-105 is my vote! Vegas is a photographers dream. Lots of fun.

I am going to Las Vegas the end of July. I have the following lenses available to me, I am trying to take only 1: 24-105L, 70-300L, Sigma 18-250. I am shooting with a Canon 7D MK II. I haven't been since '97. Thanks or your help.

18-250, when I went there were times 24 wasn't wide enough, I used my 10-22 a lot in vegas. when out of the city the 105 was to short. it really depends on what your shooting, but the 18-250 will give you a little more on both ends

If most of your shooting will be outdoors the 18-250 will serve you well, otherwise take the 24-105L.

It will be cooler at night, more comfortable to spend time out of doors. You might find yourself wishing for the widest f-stop ultimately.

You should take the lens that you could pawn for the most money.

I agree with the 24-105L. And take a tripod and cable release for wandering around the strip at night.

Just don't take any pictures inside in a gambling area.

I like the 18-250, maybe a wide angle lens if you have 14mm.

you nailed it.

Let me the one exception here ...... I'd use the 24-105L. Better glass, probably lets you drop lower on the f/stop scale if it's needed. I doubt that you will be shooting long distance in Vegas. Even at 105mm, most of the buildings will be close enough to fill the frame.

You know that the 24-105 f/4 L is better glass and is preferred over the 18-250 Sigma whenever it does the job of covering the scenes properly. But you will find yourself shooting at 18 mm with the 18-250 much more than any other setting. With the 105 you can crop to get longer but with the 24 you cannot get wider. Also at 18 mm you are at f/3.5 versus f/4 with the 24 mm so you will be even better able to get those night scenes.
