Then you don't hear to well. I am fighting the good fight, right now. You can't work through problems if you don't recognize them. Viewing the world through the lens of the greatest country in the world results in a distorted image. The emperor has no clothes! Lastly, you don't know me well enough to make any judgements about who I am and am not.

You are fighting and swinging against the wind. Read our post together. We are saying the same but in different words. I know what is wrong with our country and it begins with our government. But to dwell on the problem and not look for a solution can become the problem as well. If we have no pride in ourselves and in our country, we will have no will to fight, to be better. Set your eyes on the goal and work out the problems.

Saying we live in the greatest country in the world is not looking at a distorted image but seeing the vision. What is your vision for this Nation?

It is one not seen through rose tinted glasses. You can't solve a problem until you recognize it. In the words of Justice Jackson at the Nuremberg trials: truth, justice and the dignity of the individual. That's how he defined us and it's a good enough vision for me.

Again, I agree with you but...ooops always a but.... The biggest problem in the world is not of our making. But, if the USA is not solving it, it will drag the world back into the middle ages. Yes, Muslims are the biggest threat to world peace. For hundreds of years they had been knocked back into their sand boxes and there was some semblance of justice in the world. Now, the muslim world senses an opportunity to get it all back and they are getting to be capable to do it. We are getting weaker due to our liberal media and our muslim president and could even loose the good fight. How sad. :XD:

YIKES! You didn't signal when you made that turn. I almost went off the road. I thought we were on the road to greatness/not greatness. I have not given the muslim issue as much thought as you apparently have. Please expound.

Yes, that is what I am telling you. But it was not the United States that he spoke of but to the fact of:

"In the prisoners' dock sit twenty-odd broken men. Reproached by the humiliation of those they have led almost as bitterly as by the desolation of those they have attacked, their personal capacity for evil is forever past. It is hard now to perceive in these men as captives the power by which as Nazi leaders they once dominated much of the world and terrified most of it. Merely as individuals their fate is of little consequence to the world." From his opening statement at the Nuremberg trials.

Yikes! I thought you had a brain and some integrity. Now you act like you do not know anything about the Muslim problem.
No need for me to expound. You are either to stupid or totally insincere. I thought you were better than that.

PAY ATTENTION!! I said I hadn't given it much thought and that is true, I haven't. It's hard for me to get my arms around, (I'm stupid you know). As to my integrity, I try not to offer opinions on things I don't feel I understand well enough. The muslim issue to you is very clear, apparently. That's why I wanted you to expound. I wanted to know what you thought and perhaps it would help me understand. I didn't think my response justified a personal attack. But it does give me the opportunity to better assess the type of person you are -- not a pretty picture.

You speak of a muslim problem but I don't know what you are talking about. Is it shia vs sunni, persian vs arab, arab vs jew, secularism vs non-secularism, terrorist groups against everybody and each other, domination of the middle east? Muslim means a believer in the Islam religion. Are all muslims the problem? Is an entire religion a problem. Define the problem. How do we ever discuss a problem if we can't agree on what we are talking about? You can call me all kinds of names but it doesn't change anything except create animosity. What good is that?

America is a free country..... The government does what ever if wants ..........freely.

Government: "There should be separation of Church and State."

To separate from church is to separate from God.
No God.....No God's law. Making laws without God.

In God We Trust?

One nation under God?

Go figure.........
