I was trying to figure out how we change topic's, I went back and reread some of them and was really lost. I figured it was just me. I glad you spoke up Ivan, thank you

And I was just going to declare this poll closed....
So yes, the original topic is still valid and by now the outcome is pretty clear. Now and then I will do a topic showing images you will not see anywhere else, kind of "the rest of the story" without blood and guts. The reality many people may not be aware of or fail to imagine. The title will always include a warning.Thank you,Ivan.

SORRY IVAN! I thought immediately when I commented that maybe I should not have. I, in NO way meant to change the subject here.
Let's please get back to a YES or NO answer to the original post.
I would go back and remove my comment, but it's too late, no EDIT button.

No problem, we can exchange a few "detour" ideas as long as we do not get carried away with emotions. Thanks,Ivan.

I use to work at a funeral home, the things I have seen and the pictures I have would make some people a little green around the gills.

So I'm fine with what ever you would like to post. ;)

Thank you,Ivan.

Actually to caputre a beautiful wildlife image with a camera of any type it takes simular skills as those of a hunter. At least most of the time. every once in awhile we do get lucky

Yes and we get more mileage out of our "targets".

I was the one who had my post deleted by Admin as "too gory". It was of dead White Ibis hanging from a telephone wire by fishing line. Although a warning was given about the contents, some people opened it anyway and then complained. Ivan, I did get a lot of negative comments but the vast majority were with me. I agree that not everything in life ins pretty. My advice, if you post it, do so in the manner that makes people aware of what they are going to see. Even then, you can expect some not-too-positive feed back. The thread I started about the deleted post went on for days and absolutely wore me out! Mother Nature was the cause of the death in the posts that you are thinking about, so it really is a different subject. Mine became a cause [and one that I am still passionate about!] I say, Post Away and let the cards fall where they may.

(alaskan)Your photo was removed before I could see it but I followed the aftermath.I am aware at least one outstanding UH member (rocco) I held in high esteem quit UH in protest, etc.
As I see it your removed photo was more important to post than any other photos up to date including all mine.I am no enviromentalist but I cannot stand pollution and garbage in Nature.I believe everybody should be aware of the consequences.
Yes,it is different when an animal or bird dies of natural causes. We all know that nobody lives forever but causing the death of a living thing just because somebody is negligent or a litterbug is quite unnecessary, regrettable and shameful. You tried, if it was up to me your photo would be still here. Thanks,Ivan.

Damn, Rocco left because of all the fuss?? I agree that he is a fine photographer and was will to help others to improve. As far as I am concerned about this thread, Life is hard even for humans some times and in some parts of the world. All of it should be recorded the good and bad.

My 2 cents

 I wouldn't want to view them. But I also wouldn't want to deprive others of the opportunity to view such images if they want nor, more importantly, to stifle your self-expression merely because of my eggshell sensibilities.

Girl, you said it before and said it now: If "you're" unhappy, uncomfortable, upset, just don't go there! You are so right! It's just that simple! This a BIG forums--lots of choices. If for some reason you don't like what we discussing, and you still decide to go there for some odd form of "curiousity" just keep you opinion of it to you own self. As we use to say when I was a kid:
"bouche ta juelle"; "la bouche" (OK. Like so many of us, I never learned to read or write). In English is "shut your jaw (mouth)" or simply "shut it". You don't have to look at what you don't care to see! Everyone's opinion is honor here. That's all that is asked. I say go for reality. We born into it. Why not learn or honor it?
