For the sake of all of us with the potential for injuries and property damage, I hope it will rain and we will not have too many fires to photograph. Although with the Pine Beetle kill, it is not just the dry conditions.

Do to drought one of our fears was that CA would dry up and blow away. Don't think that will happen now but we are facing wild fires. God Bless all Fire Men and Women. Thank you Photoguy for you service.

Update: I midded the first night of the class which was on Monday of this week but no big loss as it was only classroom and no big events. This coming Monday starts the main part of the class with the hands-on avtivities. The new job I was to start didn't work out so I will be at the academy doing the photos so I will have a lot of photos coming up over the next 5 weeks.

I have a house with 5 acres in the hills that I always worry about, but my daughter lives there and takes good care of it. In fact I hear that the Gov. wants to increase taxes for every one that has property in the hills to cover the extra expenses fighting wild fired. $160.00. So far nothing has come of it.

I wish everyone luck and hope no one gets hurt as I know those fires out there can get terrible in just seconds. Seems to me that many places are raising taxes but then not putting the money for what they say they will. Hope they don't raise them.
