I too have been seriously considering the purchase of the Canon 7D Mark 2. One question about the camera that I haven't been able to find (and it's not a deal breaker) but does it do "multiple exposures" ? I can't find it, probably because it doesn't do this function. Am I correct?

Yes, according to the manual, you can shoot two to nine exposures to be merged into one image. Page 238 of the instruction manual.

Believe it or not but Canon shows two different versions of the manual for the 7D MkII. There is the "Basic Instruction Manual" and then there is the "Instruction Manual". One mentions M/E, one doesn't.

A quick scan of the owner's manual didn't show anything listed in the index.

Yes, the 7D Mark II will do multiple Exposures. You can shoot up to nine exposures that can be merged into one image. Look on page 238 of the Canon manual. I hope this will be of help.

I have just acquired a new Canon 7D Mark II and would like to find a GOOD printed manual. The included printed manual has small print and is incomplete. The disk included in the package is much better but is 320 pages and I don't want to print it. So UHH ers any suggestions.

Been looking at the cost of David Busch's 7D markll book, I see it is a First Edition, (possibly why it cost so much).

Maybe the price will drop after it comes into mass printing?

Another option is to call Canon customer service and ask for a printed copy of the full manual (same as on CD). I've done this a few times, never been refused, and more importantly, never been charged.

I tried and they said they don't print them any more....

Another thought, since there's currently just a couple of books on the 7D II, is that its user interface is very close to the 5D III. A book on the latter will probably covery 99% of what you want to know.
