I'm afraid, because of our ultra paranoid society, something that even remotely looks like a firearm being pointed at people will get you harassed by the police at best, or shot with a real firearm at worst. I'll stick to tripods or holding it against my forehead.

I was thinking the same thing. Pull something like that out in a crowd and SWAT will be in your face.

Here's something I bought from George Lepp at least forty years ago to use with a Minolta SRT-101 with a Vivitar Series-1 70, 210 and a 300 prime. I still use it today in combination with a very sturdy monopod and my Canon SX40 and SX50. ......... Coot

The shoulder mount is fully adjustable for length and angle. It allows you to use either the LCD or the electronic viewfinder.

pointing a gun at a live subject is a NO!! NO!! NO!! That's how folks die from "unloaded" guns.

Common sense would dictate that you use it on wildlife, not downtown L.A.. Very useful on moving targets such as wolves, mountain lions and birds. To bad for those people who live in the heart of humanity and wannabe gangsters.
