On my way home today . . .
You have a scenic route home. Love the pic with the Aspens standing up nice and tall. How come you have so little snow at your elevation? I am a little jealous!

There is little snow because it is cold and dry here.
However, there is usually a LOT more than you see in the PIX. We have been having freak warm weather off and on for the last several weeks.
Winter COULD return here at any moment, though.
But I'm grabbing my swimsuit! It's gonna be back up in the 40's again tomorrow!

Inga, have you thought of doing some of them in B&W? I think some would be great in B&W. Just a thought. Weathered stuff seems to play nice with B&W.
I'll have to try it. The only B+W I've ever done was in my own darkroom. This almost feels like cheating now, LOLOLOL.

Don't envy me.
Just join those of us who simply must be in the mountains. It's a different life. .. that's for sure.
I could never go back.

I like the lighting in 1, it brings out the details.

I started out many years ago developing and printing B&W. Something magical about watching the image appear from nowhere.
Know the view well. I used to ride my bicycle from Beuna Vista to Leadville during late 80s-early 90s. Also hiked the Collegiate Peaks in the back ground. Lovely shots!
