Thanks.
The last one needs a model or something, but I think it's a cool wall with the shadows and all.

I can't put my finger on the where, but all of those pictures look very familiar. 5 or so years ago I drove a hazmat truck for Airgas and delivered all sorts of compressed and liquid gasses to places like Salida, Buena Vista, and Leadville.

wolfiebear, These pictures bring back some good memories. I spent last September with my son in Denver and toured Colorado. We too traveled through Leadville. Good job on the suject and the mountain in the background!

Very nice scenic series. The aged elements add a lot of interest.

Mike,
•The wooden rubble against the mountains is indeed on the way to Buena Vista, looking west just a few miles south of Leadville.
•The old wall is right next to the Leadville Kum 'n Go that you may have stopped at for coffee or gas.
•The aspens on a ridge are as you head up towards Weston Pass (my place). The are generic enough and you likely did not see this particular batch, but I like the way they dance up on that particular ridge.

Wonderful set. Love them all, but Dilapidated fences
is my favorite.

Inga, have you thought of doing some of them in B&W? I think some would be great in B&W. Just a thought. Weathered stuff seems to play nice with B&W.
