The wooden rubble against the mountains is indeed on the way to Buena Vista, looking west just a few miles south of Leadville.
The old wall is right next to the Leadville Kum 'n Go that you may have stopped at for coffee or gas.
The aspens on a ridge are as you head up towards Weston Pass (my place). The are generic enough and you likely did not see this particular batch, but I like the way they dance up on that particular ridge.
