I found the forum from the Canon vs Nikon hook. The Pyro title was given to me by my sons, while playing paintball, because I'm a retired electrician but was also a Firefighter/EMT hence Pyro. The guys at the firehall heard it and I was immediately tagged. I have a Nikon FTN and Canon A1 back in the 35mm film days now I use a Nikon D70 firmware upgraded to D70s. I am currently eyeing the D7100. I'm looking forward to the back and forth in the forum.

Welcome. I'm from Temperance MI, just 4 miles north of Toledo OH, but have been down here in sunny FL for 3.5 years and you couldn't drag me back up there to live! 8-)

I don't blame you, the snow here this winter was a lot and temps hit minus 24 degrees. My older brother lives near Miami and he always tells me about the weather lol.

Thanks, yup Colorado is a beautiful state. I visited my one brother there when he was stationed at Fort Carson and lived in Fountain had a great time.

Welcome to the Hog, Pyro. Glad you joined us. Now put the matches away and take pictures. ;)
BTW, the D7100 would be a really nice upgrade from your D70.

Welcome Pyro. I've lived near Chicago and Detroit and got to Texas as fast as I could in '92. I love the Midwest, in the summer! Need to escape the blast furnace here now and then... Glad you're here, looking forward to you joining the mix.
