Sony makes a small case that has a belt loop built in, I can carry the M2, charger cord, and extra memory cards and extra battery. This case is very small and compact. I walk around, see a shot, remove the camera, take the shot, back in the belt case, walk on. Could not be easier, B&H and Amazon has them for about $10.00. And, the case says SONY on it, how cool is that.

I bought my M2 from Adorama, and without ordering the case it came with the camera for N/C

I too have the rx100 and the a6000. My 15 year old daughter gets great shots with the rx100. I've never used kit lenses or sony lenses on the a6000. How sharp is the Sony 35/1.8?

The answer to your question is that I find the Sony 35/1.8 very sharp. If you are interested, purchase at Best Buy, or other local retailer, that has a good return policy and try it out. I find that my sharp isn't always someone else's sharp.
What lenses are you now using on your A6000?

I just brought home and I boxed the Sony RX100M3 very. Impressed. I put a Sandisk Extreme Plus 64GB speed 80 mbs, also I bought an extra sony battery and the Sony BC-TRX quick charger. I think I just covered my bases. I am looking towards plenty of photos with his little pocket camera.

Check out the Fujifilm X30. $300 less and an EVF viewfinder that is outstanding, best in class. It does the job you seek for me.

Avraham, I just did order the lens. We will see. I currently use the Zeiss sonnar emount. 24/1.8 , and the Sony f 4, 18-105G OSS. Wanted to have a portrait lens with f1/8.

Yes some very good reviews. The 2 series is at least $100 less. I like the fact it fits in a pocket.

I few years ago I bought the RX100M2 just prior to leaving on vacation to Ireland. I wanted a small camera to have with me on the tour bus. I decided to just put in it's intelligent+ mode and left it there. I decided that I wanted to just be a tourist not a serious photographer worrying about my camera equipment. It worked very well for me. I took too many pictures to post here.

I will post just one. The camera automatically set everything.

Hey Vallipride, Alex White's book can be downloaded on kindle or any other devise using kindle app. Great for instant reference. You can get any of the earlier RX 100 books they still cover all of the important settings and capabilities. Good luck.

How do you like the Zeiss 24/1.8 lens? Let me know what you think after comparing the Zeiss lens with the Sony 35/1.8. The Zeiss should be better, but by how much is my question. The A6000 is an amazing camera with the right glass. It is like handling an old Leica rangefinder.

I agree. Cannot believe the range of things the a6000 is capable of. I'm getting the 50/18 sony not the 35. I will get back to you when I get it and test it. How do I get back to this string.?

You can send a PM (personal message). The interesting thing part is that I had originally purchased the Sony 50/1.8 but I found that it was not wide enough for a "walking around lens", and returned it to then purchase the 35/1.8
