Some of us have real matters to concern ourselves with. :)

I'm so glad some things in this life are consistent. I applaud your persistence, SS. Always a joy to see the give and take with you involved.

Thank goodness... Which Nikon lenses are white? Just curious.

Nikon made a series of AFS II lenses - 24-70, 70-200, 200 F2, 300 F2.8, 400 F2.8, 500 F4 and 600 F4.

I have the 600mm. It's a real conversation piece when I go somewhere and the Canon guys ask how much it cost me to modify the lens/camera, and do I lose AF.

Or "Wearing a Nikon ad on a jacket does not a photographer make."

The event furnished photo vests to press photographers. Obviously, Nikon paid for advertising on the vests. It does not mean they were all using Nikon gear. Kodak used to do the same.

You are missing the point . . .in many venues, you must have an officially issued photo vest to access restricted areas not open to the general public. Who ever issues the vests for the event (which are collected at the end of the event) doesn't care what type of camera you shoot, but that you have a vest that can be easily seen and identified. It appears in this example that Nikon has sponsored the photo vests for the event.

The Nikon lenses are "light gray". They're typically long tele's, 300, 400, 500mm, and hard to find.

Especially in snow or fog. :D

Maybe vests were like press passes, badges? And Nikon paid for advert?
