excellent detail and closeups. was this taken with your nikon p510? i had the p520 but returned it as i had a hard time with the focus in video. i settled for the panasonic dmc-fz200 since i had the old panasonic dmc-fz35 and wanted an updated camera.

Hard for me to pick out just one. They are all wonderful photos and each one has a thought of it's own which makes you wonder just what are they thinking. If only they could tell us....Rich

Thanks! 2 , 3 and 4 were with the P510. 1 and 5 were with my Olympus XZ-1. The P510 does a great job as long as you can keep the ISO at 100. I will keep it at 100 ISO over all else. In fact #2 was handheld at 1/30th of a second at 1000mm just because of this! The OS works pretty well! Bob

Thanks! The primates attract me the most for captures probably because of that. Bob

Beautiful portrait shots!

I agree with you about captive animals, and I, myself, do not go to zoos or circuses anymore. My mother lives near the Bronx Botanic Gardens, and that is really heaven!
