If you're staying out by the airport you should probably just go to Henry's Mississauga store instead. They are Henry's outlet store primarily but carry pretty much everything and they're much closer to the airport than the main store downtown.

Got the D3200 from Henrys. With the Can dollar low might be a good deal.

You've got to buy more expensive items. That will justify the shipping cost. :D
John I live near a Henry's and have bought all my equipment there. Have never had any issues. And you can dicker with them a little. Especially if you are purchasing a couple of items. Prices are competitive.
Thanks for that info that's what I will do.
Some additional items to consider. A) what is your spending limit when you return home and go through customs ? I.e. Should I travel to US and be away for les than 24 hrs my limit is $0.00 but $250 after 24 hr.,$800 after 48 hours. B). You wil have to pay 13% HST on all goods purchased. C) Know for sure Nikon equipment purchased in Canada only has warranty for Canada. Good luck with your shopping anyway !

Re your other post about Chrome I am having similar things happening to me.
You Tube videos won't play properly and several other annoying problems. I have reinstalled and done a system restore but to no avail. I am beginning to think it has something to do with the add ons I have because when you reinstall the add ons are also reinstalled. At this point in time I have removed Chrome and use Internet Explorer instead a which is in some ways much better.

I use Firefox. I hate Chrome. Love Bing. :) (and you can use whatever you want as a search engine in Firefox)

I will be in Toronto in a few weeks time and was thinking of buying a camera from Henrys as their prices seem to be quite good.
I know the prices are higher in Canada than in the US but they are lower than in the UK.
Are there any Canadian members who can advise me about Henrys and other camera retailers in Toronto.
Thanks.
Henrys is awsome and the staff are very knowledgeable and very helpful.
That is where I take all my business.
They are great!!

I'm not Canadian, but I've purchased several items from Henry's via post and have been pleased with their service and products...although postage rates are higher than in the US.
John I buy everything from Henrys. (2 canon cameras, 4-5 lens) Our local store is very helpful and they will match any price from a local vendor. Go on line and check out the other competition and show them. They will always match. Very easy to deal with.
I love Canada, Canadians, Chrome, and Safari. The information you are getting here appears very useful, as usual. Keep up the good work, folks. :-)

The two stores that I would recommend are Henry's & Vistek, both provide excellent service. You should check if Nikon UK will warranty Nikon products purchased in Canada.

I expect anything you buy there will be considered "Gray" market.

As you don't live in Canada be sure to get the HST tax refund. It can be substantial.
I agree 100% with the comments made by Bugfan. All the retailers mentioned are very good. I have been dealing with the Henry's store at Yonge and Steeles (top of the city) for over 15 years. My contact is Mike Krupat and they do match prices and Mike will even discount to avoid losing a sale to B&H if it's possible. Sales tax in Ontario is 13% so you have to factor that into your decision. The weak Canadian dollar may work in your favour. As far as I am aware, Nikon US does not consider Canadian product, grey.
