#2 was shot with a zoom on 18 mm, f/22, 1/20th (on a tripot but not a remote release), and ISO 1800 -- it was late in the day and the sun in the tree captivated me. It wouldn't have taken much of a breeze to blur the moss...

There you go then, if you opened up the aperature (lowered the f number, let more light in) it would have shortened the shutter speed to lessen the blur. Still a great pic.

Great pics... I was in Cocoa Beach Florida a few years back and there is a wildlife sanctuary over near Cape Canaveral that I got some great shots from... have you ever been there... Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge
