Hi. I've looked over the forum and you all seem amazing! I'm taking pictures every day, reading all I can, and loving it all! I did a good bit of photography in High School and now.... well, my kids graduated from highschool years ago... how time flies. So, I'm back at it and the world has changed! Post processing... I'm befuddled but ready to take it all on and can use all the help I can get.

Welcome to UUH. I have found it very interesting and informative. I just live down the road from you in Indialantic. Arnold
Welcome to the forum. Gotta say I love your username. Pretty clever!
This is the right place to learn current technology (I'm still befuddled by post processing software too) and also how to improve technique. Post a picture or two of your work.
If you haven't gone to Viera Wetlands yet... go. I was there the past 2 days and for Dawn today. Absolutely beautiful. My pictures seem to get better... 1st day not so good, yesterday better, today... different conditions so back on a learning curve. I'm starting to crave a bigger lens. Any other thoughts / suggestions are certainly welcome.

I'll do that (just put a few above). But I sense putting pictures in the wrong place gets :-( feedback. So hopefully I'll be OK on that. Here are three pictures I recently entered in a contest on FLA Pictures. I'd like to hear any thoughts on them.
Welcome ArtSeaMom,I enjoyed your bird photos, have been going to a bird preserve and state parks several years now.

I'm betting that #3 got the most attention of the three (if they were in the same contest). I like this one the best - the lines made by the shadows on top of the sand point just draw me in.
I like the way #2 is partially lit by the sun. Make me sit and wonder what's just off the left side of the picture that would cause the light to fall that way. The size of the tree is quite impressive too.
#1 is a good picture but it doesn't keep my attention for too long. Not sure what property makes me react that way.
Yeah the surfer just seems done. I was taken by the reflection in the sand. Turns out the tree with the light hitting it was the favorite of may althought most of my "artsy friends" shared your view of the fense shadow
Welcome to UHH...Well you certainly live in a wonderful and beautiful area. My wife and I vacation in Cocoa Beach often and I always come home with thousands of photos. Some of my best sunrises were taken there. Glad your here and we enjoyed your photos
Welcome!!!! You have some great shots!!!!! keep posting!!!
All real nice pictures. Your sand looks like my snow - last pic. Also love the shadows of the fence on it.

Welcome to the "HOG" Nice photos.
Welcome to the UHH
Like your pics very much. Would have made *2 my favorite but felt it was a little out of focus and fussy in places. What was the settings you used and did you use manual focus or AF? *3 gave me great ideas for pics of my own. Well done from England.
