My purchase of the Epson V500. Bought to digitize my slide collection from years ago, and also the BW negatives from the same period. Part of the package included a copy of PSE9, which for me is a 2 step upgrade from PSE7. Many thanks to MT shooter for the positive recommendation.
:)
My best buy is my Canon G 12, I use this more than my other cameras, the G12has great detail for a street camera, it is great.
My Canon 7D and nifty fifty
Black Rapid RS-W1 Women's camera strap and r-T1 for tripod quick release plate. Love this sling strap and works great for me with my D7000. So far so good.
Besides buying gas for $2.43 a gallon, I could not top what rmalarz did. Wish I could have been there.
My best purchase was a Canon 70-200 f2.8 L Fantastic lens at all levels. For me I wish I had purchased the IS version which is why I now have my L lens for sale so I can purchase the IS version. This is great for Portraits, landscapes, animal shooters. It was a great investment, one of Canons best.....
Manfrotto mounting plates and QR plates for my cameras and tripods. Now I can easily put any camera on any tripod - from referrals on this forum.

Rather simple, a 32GB High Speed Compact Flash card.

Canon SX 40 HS camera. I find myself grabbing it instead of my DSLR's and multiple lenses.

My new 70-200 f/2.8L IS II.....love this lens!!! I also bought a new SIRUI P-326 carbon fiber Monopod with Wimberly QR and Lens Plate. I wanted the Gitzo 5561T monopod, but I saved over $200 by going with the Sirui that had very good reviews.
Also got a new 15" Mac Book Pro and a Herringbone Hand Strap for my 5D.
Nothing, which (now I think about it) surprises me. I've got so much stuff already that I've not seen anything new that I want this year. I idly considered a Nikon D800 (or whatever the new one is) but I prefer using my present cameras.
Things may change at photokina, though. And I might buy a new printer before then.
Cheers,
R.
