I purchased a new T5i Canon Camera. My Elements 11 will not open the raw images. Do I need to buy a new Elements 14?

Yep, these manufacturers know how to $stick-it$ to you.
Every time you make a change, you spend the dollars to upgrade programs and more equipment.

No, Adobe is not sticking it to you. On the other hand, continuing to use outdated software and expecting Adobe (or any other publisher) to continue to support it actually sticks it to them.

That being said, you have several options. Use the raw converter that came with your camera. Update to a newer version of PSE that supports your camera, download DNG converter (free), or get the Lightroom/PS bundle for $10/mo.

I can't find the adobe ACR upgrade in my computer even when I downloaded it again.
Sorry, I just can't figure out computers. I am still using my old LG flip phone.

I do have Corel Pro X6 and it opens raw files easily.

Yes, the canon program works really good also, But I can't figure out how to save anything yet.

So, I'm getting there.

Just open Elements and you will see a list of menu items across the top of the screen. Select "help" and the drop down menu will have "Updates" as an item. Just click that and Camera Raw should be updated.
I just tried it and it worked for me!
Good luck.

When using the Canon program (DPP), you can save a file in the RAW format by clicking on the File Menu item and then clicking on Save or Save As from the drop-down menu. If you want to save it in TIFF or JPEG, click on the File menu item and then click on Convert and Save from the drop-down menu. Hope this helps.
