Above the Fog... all the way to 4,500 feet
Photos say something about the photographer and yours are certainly no exception. Anyone would be proud of and grateful for your friendship.

You really did rise above it Linda! Pity the poor folks that didn't realize they even could....:) Love the spacious detail and sharpness in that first one. You are a wonderful photographer. Great detail, contrast, and natural color in the Mt. Rainier picture! Where did you take that from? And lookit all the birds (!) in that last one..... simply amazing my friend. Thanks for the head's up and for sharing your lovely work.
Thanks so much for your generous comments, Ernie! That is a scenic viewpoint just a couple of miles west of White Pass on State Hwy 12.

Great photos, I especially like number two.
Thanks for sharing.
Great shots, Linda, with @2 providing wonderful contrast. :)
beauty shots linda..love that second shot of the mountain..and the fogs..excellent great series!!!
Excellent series, Linda. The fog is really impressive following the river valley (warm water, cold air? Or is it cold water, warm air...). Love the shot of Mt. Ranier, just breathtaking.
Best one of all is the starlings. A shame the fog, the trees, the hills and the sky all got in the way and cluttered up the nice image of the birds, lol!
Nice work!
Linda, you are one of a kind. Great images.

Linda, I think I have that same shot. I took mine from a road pull out just east of the summit. I was with my wife and kids several years ago. We used to ski at white pass almost every weekend in the winter. The kids were on the race team. Here is a little trivia for you --- My middle name is Rainier (my mothers maiden name) and I was told the mountain was named after a relative of my grand parents.
