The City changes out the background lights on the arch the spans Virginia Street (Casino row) from white to blue, as a holiday acknowledgement. This creates a striking view that is hard to capture by camera since there is no place to park at this particular vantage point. In a slowly moving car, the camera had to focus through the windshield in a handheld position. Sure, a tripod, a stationary platform and a time/release would have been better but... this does convey driving to up, and under the arch in a dramatic nighttime setting nonetheless.
