My preference is enhanced. IMHO- if you were to crop just a bit from each side you would achieve 3 things. A bit more diagonal branch, place the bird on the one third placement on the left with the bird more obviously looking into open space, place the bird's eye on the one third point from top and left.

The enhanced one is better because it shows the bird's true colors. The eye sparkle is terrific in both!

Actually it is in the wrong forum...

As to your question what is best to print? There is no answer to that, at all. If you 'enhanced' the pic according to your display and the display is not calibrated you will likely be sorely disappointed, the result being too dark or too light.

There are a couple of threads on that subject and it all comes to an image being 'adjusted/enhanced' for a skewed display.

I posted a topic about this... http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-29990-1.html#461637

One question: Is anything ever in the right forum for your taste? This is the only thing we ever hear from you.

This person asked for an opinion or advice about the photographs posted here. A simple explanation of the pros and cons of each sample would be courteous and sufficient. :-)

I like the top one. If it was me I would have cloned out the blurred branch at the bottom as it distracting. Then it would be a very nice sharp simple photo.
