Since I took the photos below, Ive drilled a hole in
it and screwed it onto my Subies gear stick to
teach it a lesson for not going in the hole.
Dont tell Callaway ;)

My 89 year old father is an avid golfer and plays 4-5 times weekly, since moving in with us three years ago. However the family and I have noticed his vision is starting to become a huge problem. The Pro Shop calls us on average once a week and asks that something be done about his vision as other members are complaining that dad often times hits their ball, thinking it is his because he doesn't see well. After convincing dad to see an eye doctor, he returned home from his visit pleased as could be. Told us the doctor has a 92 year old patient named Ed, who happens to have 20-20 vision and enjoys playing golf as well. Dad called Ed as soon as he got home and the two older gents made arrangements to play the next afternoon. After a cordial meeting where both gents shook hands, shared a few jokes, and realized they were practically neighbors having lived just 2 blocks apart, they approached the first "T". Flipping a coin to see who went first, my dad won and takes his place at the first "T" and while setting up. After a few practices swings, he smacks the ball (one of his better drives) straight as an arrow right don the middle of the fairway some 156 yards away. Proud as punch with his super "massive" drive, he turnes to his new friend and says "Did you see it Ed, did you see that smackeroo? He asks: "Ed calmly says "Yes Tom, I did"...Tom (my dad) says "Well, where did it go"? Ed turns his focus towards the fairway, looks up and down as well as side to side as Dad waits ever so patiently and responds .....I forget"...................................

That's hilarious! I love golf. I'm not very good compared to most friends and family I play with, but I don't take it as serious as they do. I just enjoy being out there. But your poem is a good one, and I may share it with those friends and family members if that's ok.
